Absolutely no trouble at all! I'm having a positive blast helping out. :) Question for you: A good friend of mine named Boper911 joined the blog on June 1. I immediately asked him to contact you before he did one single thing on the blog, but I did warn him that your internet access is extremely limited so it would be a while before you could get in touch with him. I don't know if he has made an effort to contact you, but I can vouch for him, if that helps. Regarding my work here, do you approve of the changes I have made to the Room Themes Template and the Room Themes pages, and do you like the way I am setting up the individual theme pages? I've got it down to a science now, but it would be no trouble to change the way I am doing things if you have suggestions or don't like how I've done things. I am contemplating adding micro themes to the Room Themes Template page. (if you're wondering how I define micro-themes, see this page: http://webkinzpictureguide.shoutwiki.com/wiki/%28Picture_Guide%29_Ganz_eStore_Room_Themes ) Do you think it a good idea for me to make theme pages for micro themes? I have already done all the background work for them, and it would take less then ten minutes per page to set it up. Please let me know, and it's great to hear from you! Loopy (talk) 19:41, 12 July 2017 (UTC)
Thanks for that tip! I'm still trying to get used to typing the image name all mashed together, but thankfully I caught those mistakes. And sorry for putting the estore room themes under the estore page...I was starting to add the themes to the page, and then I came across your template for a room theme, and I wasn't sure which way you wanted the page to be, so I put in the template version. So I should just be adding the theme furniture to the estore theme page and not the template version of the theme, right? But if I do that, won't there be too many images on the page for the WPG template to handle? Loopy (talk)
That's way easier than I thought! I can definitely do that if you want. Is there a maximum number I can add? Or does it just become as big as we want it to? Also, once the template is updated, will the eStore and PSI pages automatically show the rest of the code? Or do I have to do something once I add onto the template? (Thanks for this mini lesson!) DisneyPrincess (talk) 02:20, 27 March 2017 (UTC) Yes, that completely makes sense! So as of right now, do you know how to expand it past the 600 limit? I had no idea this was even a thing so I'm glad I asked before you left! DisneyPrincess (talk) 00:33, 27 March 2017 (UTC) On your to do list, I saw update WPG template. How do we do that? Or is that something only you are able to do?? DisneyPrincess (talk) 21:13, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
I know you're going to be leaving again so I had a quick question. What is the best way to contact you if we have a question about the Picture Guide?? I'm not sure what you check the most. Thanks! DisneyPrincess (talk) 23:25, 25 March 2017 (UTC)
Oh my goodness, I assumed the images on WI were all the proper standard. I had no idea I was uploading improper images! In the future, I will just make my own images, using the same process I've been using on my own for years. I definitely didn't mean to make more work for you. : ( So very sorry about that! Loopy (talk) 02:22, 24 March 2017 (UTC)
Whew! Glad you liked it. : ) As far as differentiating the estore prizes in there, maybe an asterisk behind the name of the soda/fudge, cookie, and white egg prizes, with a note that it was only available that way? Or perhaps a foot note? Or can you change the font colors to indicate that they are estore prizes? Or just put those prizes in their own section right after the other prizes for that year? (That last idea might make the page a bit too cluttered, I think!) Loopy (talk) 19:01, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
I've finished the annual Click-to-Win page. Please let me know what you think, and don't be sparing on the criticism. I need criticism to learn! : ) I grouped everything by "Introduced in..." for continuity purposes. I included the fall fest soda prizes from 2016 and the winterfest cookie prizes from 2017 because the previous page editors included the white egg prizes from 2016, even though they weren't strictly click-to-win. Which brings me to a question: did you want me to include the grand prizes for fall fest soda/fudge and winterfest cookies in every year they were available, though they were not click-to-win? Please let me know, thanks! I'm going to go add tradeable promo to the Promo page for now. Loopy (talk) 15:51, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
I have uploaded everything I can at this point, so I added the estore packs that were missing to the Promo page. I put Nautical Navy, Sassy Seafaring, and Cheerful Clinic in that section, because I wasn't sure if you wanted them in that section or in their own section. If you want to change it, please do. : ) For now, I'm going to stick to established pages, because I can copy and paste the code without messing up an entire page, ha ha. Unless, of course, you don't want me to mess with established pages...just say the word! Loopy (talk) 21:10, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
No trouble at all! I've been dying to help out here for months and months. : ) I am just about to finish uploading the images from gottaluvjoe, so I'm not sure what you would like me to do after that. Also, I get an error message when I try to upload any image that has the words "pack" or "fence" in it. Any idea why that happens? Loopy (talk) 19:05, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
Hahah I can see why you've procrastinated.. the eStore pages are very overwhelming. I'd like to get the categories and format for each page put together while you're here so that I can fill in from there. For the food machine page, do you want it similar to the virtual figures page where the corresponding item is next to the figure? Or do you not want the food pictured there? I'm not as good with choosing the WPG formats for each page. If you can show me an example on one of the eStore category pages, I can set up the rest from there and you can check afterwards? DisneyPrincess (talk) 18:54, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
Hello! I uploaded scads of photos and updated the Stocking and Crackers and Spring Mystery pages. If I have done anything incorrectly, please let me know. I do not have a lot of experience in wiki editing. : ) As soon as you post the names for the March 8 update, I will get those photos uploaded. Loopy (talk) 01:17, 22 March 2017 (UTC)
Hi Michele! I hope all is well with you! I was going to let you know that I can work on uploading images and names for the new items if you wanted :) I heard you've been busy so I'd be happy to help out with this! I just don't know how to get the new image names. DisneyPrincess (talk) 18:23, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
Hi! :) I'm going to be driving home tomorrow for about 13 hours. While I will not have internet, I would still like to work on this somehow since I will be extremely bored haha. I was just wondering if you had any ideas for what I could work on? I thought about typing up the wallpaper and flooring collections in the best format, but I wasn't sure if you had any additional ideas? Thanks! DisneyPrincess (talk) 04:21, 11 March 2016 (UTC)
Hi Michele! I noticed that the Super Surprise Boxes that were made available are not in the Picture Guide. I'm not quite sure which category you think would be best to put them. Let me know! :) DisneyPrincess (talk) 02:34, 7 March 2016 (UTC)
Of course!! I love working on it! :) I've been meaning to ask you if you can upload the 2006 easter gift bag because I can't find it anywhere. The one on WI is super blurry so I didn't want to use it. I'm not sure if you have it or not? DisneyPrincess (talk) 04:56, 28 February 2016 (UTC)
Okay thanks! I'm not entirely sure if this is how I respond to you, but I'm hoping it is. As far as images go, I will start uploading them from wnewz, right? DisneyPrincess (talk) 22:35, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
Hi Choircutie, thank you for choosing ShoutWiki to make your wiki.
We would suggest that you start your wiki off by doing these few basic things:
- Upload a logo. You can do this by uploading an image over File:Wiki.png. (not available on some skins)
- Design your Main Page. The main page is likely the first thing users will see. It should be attractive and catch the eye.
- Start building content. All wikis need content to become the best they can be.
If you need help with making a logo, skin or favicon, please see ShoutWiki's Logo Creation Wiki.
Thank you again for using ShoutWiki.
